A minor girl after allegedly being administered wrong injection died at a private hospital in Karachi
Karachi (Pakistan Point News / Online - 22nd April, 2019) A minor girl after allegedly being administered wrong injection died at a private hospital in Karachi.The victim identified as Nashwa was under treatment in Dar-ul-Sehat Hospital for several days after that she was shifted at Liaquat National Hospital.Nashwa was suffered 71 percent brain damage after allegedly being administered wrong injection.A case was also registered against hospital administration in Shahr e Faisal for their negligence.
Spokesperson Liaquat National Hospital Anjum Rizvi said that Nashwa passed away on 9:30 am in the morning and her body was shifted to her home.He said brain of Nashwa was suffered most damage and her immune system was also become weaken also she was receiving attacks'.On the other hand, father of the victim girl said that Nashwa was brought at hospital upon the complaint of Diarrhea where an injection that should be administered after the break of 24 hours was put on the drip with the break of 20 seconds.SSP investigation east has said in the letter written to Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and health department that incident happened owing to negligence of hospital administration.
