The United States, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates pledged to ensure that the global market will have sufficient oil supply following Washington's decision to terminate sanctions waivers for countries importing Iranian oil, the White House said in a statement on Monday

WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd April, 2019) The United States, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates pledged to ensure that the global market will have sufficient oil supply following Washington's decision to terminate sanctions waivers for countries importing Iranian oil, the White House said in a statement on Monday.

"The United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, three of the world's great energy producers, along with our friends and allies, are committed to ensuring that global oil markets remain adequately supplied," the statement said.

The three nations "have agreed to take timely action to assure that global demand is met as all Iranian oil is removed from the market," it added.
