ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / Online - 21st April, 2019) CDA Regional Planning Department has declared phase-4 of Ghauri town illegal besides issuing directive that construction work should be stopped immediately in this phase.According to media reports, several notices were issued by CDA to this society management seeking suspension of construction work therein but no heed has been paid to these notices and construction work is still underway.
Decision has been taken to initiate legal proceedings against the society. A letter has been sent to enforcement directorate, Building control section, environment department , assistant commissioner and respective police station on this count.The letter said that Ghauri town management is continuing construction work in phase-4 while no NOC has been obtained from relevant directorate of CDA. . Notice was sent several times to Ghauri town management seeking suspension of construction of work in this phase but the construction work is still continuing. Ghauri town management is once again directed to stop immediately construction work of every kind in phase-4
