Thirteen People Wounded In Train Accident In Northern India - Reports

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th April, 2019) Thirteen people have been wounded as a train derailed near the village of Rooma some 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from the city of Kanpur in northern India, local media have reported on Saturday.

The NDTV broadcaster reported that the accident occurred around 01:00 a.m. local time on Saturday (19:30 GMT on Friday) as 12 carriages derailed en route from the city of Prayagraj to New Delhi.

The broadcaster added that 15 ambulance cars had arrived at the spot to assist the injured passengers.
