MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 19th April, 2019) The United States blatantly interferes in processes related to the Nord Stream 2 project, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Friday.
"The United States is presumptuously interfering in the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 project. Take, for example, the regular public statements by the US ambassador to Berlin, who simply requires the German government to change its position and go against its own interests," the minister said at an international investment council session.
The minister added that Washington had effectively "tabooed" any Russian-US business initiatives.
"We hope for more attempts to find a better balance of interests and move from unilateral accusations to dialogue," the minister said.
