Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad has expressed displeasure over absence of two accused including Azam Wazir Azam Khan and Nasir besides issuing non bailable arrest warrants of one accused Adnan Javed in fake bank accounts, mega money laundering case

ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / Online - 16th April, 2019) Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad has expressed displeasure over absence of two accused including Azam Wazir Azam Khan and Nasir besides issuing non bailable arrest warrants of one accused Adnan Javed in fake bank accounts, mega money laundering case.The court has ordered to arrest the accused persons and present them before it on next hearing.The case came up for hearing in AC Islamabad led by Judge Arshid Malik Tuesday.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur appeared in the court.NAB prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi told the court that letter was written for reminding the accused who are in jailJudge Arshid Malik inquired " are the accused who are in jail not in jail in some other case.NAB prosecutor told the court total 5 accused are in jail and four among them are in Malir jail. 7 accused are on judicial remand. Two women Noreen and Kiran Aftab who have become approvers also appeared in the court.

The court inquired the process of their becoming approves has reached upto what stage.NAB prosecutor told the court application has been presented to NAB chairman.NAB prosecutor told the court two accused Nasir Abdullah and Azam Khan Malik are outside the country. The accused Iqbal Arain has died.The court summoned the travelling history of the accused who have gone abroad besides seeking death certificate of deceased accused.The court issued directives to file surety bonds valuing Rs 2 million each to ensure attendance of accused Shahzad Ali and Zain Malik.The investigation officer requested the court to give him some time to bring record and prepare paper book.The court while accepting the plea adjourned the hearing of the case till April 29.
