A policeman also lost his life during a firing exchange in Hayatabad area of the provincial capital: CCPO
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 15th April 2019) A policeman embraced martyrdom in an operation against terrorists in Hayatabad Peshawar.
According to media reports, a terrorist was killed in the raid conducted on intelligence-based reports.
A local tv quoting KP Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai said that police conducted a quick operation when it received information that some terrorists were present in a house in Hayatabad area.
Peshawar CCPO said that militants were hiding in a house and when police raided they started firing from the inside. The firing exchange, he said, continued for two hours. One policeman lost his life while a terrorist was killed in the operation, he added.
