Lahore (Pakistan Point News / Online - 15th April, 2019) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Monday cancelled the summons recently issued to the wife and daughters of PML-N President Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has also decided to send a questionnaire to the female members of the Sharif family instead of summoning them to the anti-graft bureau's offices. The questionnaire, as per the NAB Lahore office officials, will be dispatched later on Monday.
According to a statement issued after the NAB chairman's visit to the NAB Lahore bureau, he also decided to personally supervise all the cases against the Sharif family. The decisions were taken after the NAB chairman received a detailed briefing by the Lahore bureau's director general and other senior officials.The statement states that Justice (retd) Iqbal cancelled the notices sent to Nusrat Shehbaz, and his two daughters, Rabia Imran and Javeria Ali. The chairman reiterated the need to ensure uniform implementation of accountability laws and urged all officers to pursue cases without any discrimination.
