Holding placards and banners, the community members had staged the sit-in at Quetta’s Western bypass after Friday midnight against the Quetta’s Hazaganji blast.

At least 20 people were killed and 48 sustained injuries in the explosion in provincial metropolis’ fruit and vegetable market on Friday morning.

Majority of the victims were of Shia Hazara as they were the target of the blast. The Quetta police officials confirmed it was an incident of sectarian violence. Islamic State Militant claimed the responsibility of the blast.
