The trains upon the track were stopped upon receiving the information. A bomb disposal squad was called from Hyderabad due to their unavailability in Thatta.
The bomb disposal squad reached the site of the bomb and diffused it. The railway track was restored after the bomb was diffused.
According to reports, the remote control bomb weighed 500 gram.
Police and Rangers arrived in the area and started search operation. Seven suspected persons have been arrested in search operation.
