Information Minister said the government is taking strict action to curb sectarian violence and terrorism in the country
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 13th April 2019) Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has expressed resolve to defeat terrorism in the country.
According to media reports, Mr Fawad made these remarks while addressing the gathering in his home constituency in Jehlum.
“Quetta like incidents will not deter Pakistan in the fight against terrorism,” said the minister.
At least 20 people were killed and 50 others sustained injuries in an explosion in Quetta’s Harazganji market on Friday morning. The Hazara community was the target of the blast.
An unknown Taliban ground claimed the responsibility and said it carried out the blast in collaboration with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. But the Islamic State Militant on Saturday came with the claim that it was responsible for the blast. The ISIS also issued a photograph of the terrorist involved in the last.
Fawad said the government would take strict action to curb sectarian violence and terrorism in the country. He said that the coward act would not shatter government resolve for the fight against terrorism.
