Suspect Escapes After Bail Petition Rejected

Karachi (Pakistan Point News / Online - 11th April, 2019) A murder accused escaped from the premises of Supreme Court Karachi registry after his bail plea rejected on Thursday.The accused Shaman Ali is involved in killing of two people Yaseen and Mamoon Sajjan in Nowshero Feroz on May 15, 2018.A two-member bench comprising Justice Maqbool Baqar and Justice Sajjad Ali Shah rejected the accused's bail application.The prosecutor opposing the bail said there were solid proofs against the accused therefore the bail plea should be rejected.

As soon as the court announced the verdict, the accused managed to flee without any difficulty.This is the fifth case within last 10 days when a suspect fled from the court premises after his bail petition was rejected.A day earlier, the prime accused in a rape case escaped from the apex court.On 4th April , three other suspects Ghulam Mehdi, Muhammad Khan and Shah Mardan involved in the said case were also able to flee from the court after their bail plea rejected.
