Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 11th April, 2019) A boy in Lahore attacked a girl in front of dozens of people for refusing his marriage proposal.
The girl sustained injuries in the attack.
According to media reports, Mughalpura Police told that the accused stopped the girl at a market at Jahangir Road and expressed his anger at her for refusing his marriage proposal.
The girl refused, saying that she wants to marry someone of her parents’ choice.
The boy got angry upon hearing this and attacked her.
The boy injured the girl with the knife amid crowd. The people present at the site stopped the accused and handed him over to police.
The police shifted the injured girl to hospital where she underwent a surgery.
In another incident local persons killed a shopkeeper on financial matters.
The victim was identified as Fayyaz Ahmad, aged 23 and a resident of Azad town. Police have registered a case against accused and dead body was sent to hospital for postmortem.
