Sharjah's Department of Statistics and Community Development launched on Tuesday a new open government data management platform under the name of 'Tabadul' to accelerate the emirate's digital transformation roadmap
SHARJAH, (Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2019) Sharjah's Department of Statistics and Community Development launched on Tuesday a new open government data management platform under the name of 'Tabadul' to accelerate the emirate's digital transformation roadmap.
This is a unique data centre between local government agencies to create an inter-operable information network for citizens, residents and businesses in Sharjah.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Head the Department of Statistics and Community Development and Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director-General of Department of eGoverment, were present at the launch.
Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director-General of Department of eGoverment said that the launch of the 'Tabadul' platform, was the result of cooperation between the Department of Statistics and Community Development and the Department of Statistics and Department of eGoverment, and some entities in the emirate.
"The open source data integration platform will provide a broader analytical solution, and the platform will use the data paths associated with the creation of open data applications, metadata management, a library of general application interfaces, and data analysis, presentation and reporting tools," Sheikh Khalid added.
