MARDAN (Pakistan Point News / Online - 10th April, 2019) The police busted a gang involved in looting people carryingmoney in different part of the district and arrested its four membersand recovered 40.3 million looted money and motorbike used in therobbery incidents, officials said on Wednesday.District police officer Mohammad Sajjad Khan told a press conference that a gang ofrobbers from the last few weeks were looting people in different partsof the district.
He added that the gang on gunpoint looted 30 millionrupees from Shamsh-ur-Rehman a well-known flour dealer on mill by passroad near Akbar Darululum when he was carrying the cash to his housein his car. He added that the robbers also injured him in the robberyincident. He added that later on the gang looted Tajdar Mohammaddealer of bricks at Gujjar Gahri and by force snatched 20 millionrupees from him when he was carrying the cash from bank a few daysback. He added that the gang looted 0.4 million rupees from a traderMalang at Sheikh Maltoon town area. DPO added that later on therobber's gang looted Rs 3, 50,000 from a transporters Ghafoor Khan atMuqam chowk and also looted Rs 1, 80,000 from constable Majid Khan.
