MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th April, 2019) A Russian-Qatari intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and industrial cooperation will meet in Moscow on Wednesday.
The panel will be held on the sidelines of the 4th Arabia-EXPO International Exhibition, a three-day conference that kicked off on Monday.
The commission's inaugural meeting took place in Qatar in 2015. It is chaired by Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed Bin Saleh Sada.
Novak said after a meeting with Sada last October that cooperation between the two nations was driven by Qatari investments. He estimated Qatar's contribution at $2.5 billion. The countries are in talks on joint projects worth an extra $12 billion.
