JUI-F chief met the former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Raiwaind.
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 9th April 2019) JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman met former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Raiwaind.
He visited Sharif House to inquire about the health of ailing Sharif who has been set free by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on a six-week bail so that he could get treatment of his choice.
Fazl told the journalists that his Primary objective of the visit was to inquire about his health but they also discussed the political situation.
He said he will also meet Asif Ali Zardari in coming days to devise a common strategy of protest against the government.
Maulana has long been trying to unite opposition parties against the government. However, he could not succeed in his mission so far as PPP and PML-N are not ready to join hand against the government.
It is unclear so far that whether Sharif’s PML-N is ready to sit with Zardari in future, but some media reports say the PML-N agreed to vote for PPP in the Senate to bring the new chairman of the upper house. Some insiders say Fazl sought Nawaz Sharif support to launch a movement against the government.
Fazal said his party was ready to launch a million-march against the government but he wanted other opposition parties also join hand with him. He said Imran Khan was a fake prime minister and came into power to complete the Zionists agenda. He said PTI if remains in power will destroy the country both financially and morally.
