The JUI-F chief who also MMA, an alliance of different religious parties, wants opposition parties united to launch a movement against the government
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 8th April 2019) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F head Maulana Fazlur Rahman has reached Lahore on Monday.
Fazl, who has already geared up campaign against the government, is expected to meet PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Raiwind.
He will also head his party meeting and discuss the plan for the long march. The JUI-F has decided to hold a long-march to oust the government but it has yet to announce the date of the protest. Fazl who also heads the MMA, an alliance of different religious parties, wanted opposition parties united against the government. For the purpose, he held a series of talks and meetings with PML-N leaders including Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari. But he could not succeed in his mission as both parties were not ready to start any movement against the government.
Maulana’s Monday’s tour to Islamabad is seen in the same background. Reports say that he will pursue Nawaz Sharif to join hand with Zardari and announce a movement against the PTI.
