Meeting held to review NAP implementation

Federal secretary, provincial secretaries attended the meeting and show satisfaction over the action against banned outfits

LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 3rd April 2019) Federal Secretary Azam Suleman had presided over a meeting to review the implementation of National Action Plan.

The meeting which held on Wednesday was attended by the home secretaries and concerned officials from all the provinces, according to local TV.

The meeting reviewed the progress regarding action against the banned outfits. The meeting was told that the provincial government had taken control of the properties of the banned outfits and that the social media accounts of those organizations and people working for them were also blocked.

It was stated by the tv that Azam Suleman appreciated the steps taken by the provinces to stop all kind of financial assistance to the banned groups.

Since the meeting was informed that networks of around over 90 percent of the banned groups were traced and eliminated, the participants showed their resolve to completely vanish them from the scene in the near future. The report on the progress of NAP implementation will be forwarded to Prime Minister Imran Khan.
