Junaid Afridi, brother of Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi has mounted pressure upon Deputy Commissioner Islamabad to remove the name of his close friend from the forth schedule
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 03rd April, 2019) Junaid Afridi, brother of Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi has mounted pressure upon Deputy Commissioner Islamabad to remove the name of his close friend from the forth schedule.Junaid Afridi has made a phone call to Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat that last month district administration has issued a list regarding forth schedule so name of Musawar Abbasi should be removed from that list besides disposing of ongoing land inquiries against Musawar Abbasi.
Musawar Abbasi now is seen sitting in outside the office of deputy commissioner for the last two days, however, deputy commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat has refused to do this illegal act.It is vital to mention here that two months ago, upon the directives of IG Islamabad Zulfiqar Khan heavy contingent of police under SP Hassam Iqbal launched a crackdown within the jurisdiction of Noon Police after a row between two groups over property dispute.
6 police personnel's along with one inspector were also suspended for backing land mafia.However, cases were registered against Musawar Abbasi and several others for occupying land on name of Taliban group and causing harassment in the area through aerial firing under terrorism Acts.Later on upon the recommendation of Islamabad police, deputy commissioner Islamabad put the name of Musawar Abbasi and others on forth schedule under terrorism Act.Now brother of minister of state for interior is pressurizing DC to remove his name from the forth schedule.Brother of minister said that Musawar Abbasi is his close friend and he should be given support in other cases too besides removing his name from the forth schedule.Minister's Brother also said to the DC that ongoing inquiries against Munawarr Abbasi should be disposed of.
