(Pakistan Point News / NNI - 02nd April, 2019) Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar has said that the role of Non governmental organizations is very important in providing health, education and care facilities to special persons and children and Sindh government is also trying hard to facilitate these organizations in their cause.This he said while visiting Dewa Trust Gulshan e Iqbal here on Tuesday.
On this occasion Director Dewa Trust Rizwan Lohdi and Principal Ms. Musarart were also present. Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar was informed that as many as 1600 special children were getting education in the Trust school and hearing impaired children were being provided speech therapy and other care facilities as well.Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar assured them that his department would fully cooperate them in their cause.
He added, ' Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities has taken many initiatives to facilitate special persons and children and also ensuring to implement laws on special persons '.He said that we were trying to provide vocational trainings to special persons so that they might be able to live a respectable life and should not have dependency on others. ' In public and private sectors we are also making arrangements to provide jobs to them ' . NNI
