The management said that the woman had economy class ticket but was requesting to be shifted to economy plus class.
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 2nd April, 2019) A Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight was offloaded on Tuesday.
The flight was offloaded because a woman along with her infant refused to follow the directions.
The PK-304 flight was then offloaded from the take-off point. The PIA management did not reveal the identity of the woman.
The management said that the woman had economy class ticket but was requesting to be shifted to economy plus class.
Upon repeated refusal by the woman to abide by the rules, the PIA crew offloaded the flight.
PIA sources said that the plane’s captain and other crew members requested the woman to take her seat in economy class but she not only refused to take her seat but also misbehaved with the crew.
As the situation turned bad, the woman started whining in the plane. The pilot was then forced to take back the plane to jet bridge where the woman was offloaded along with her infant.
The incident caused a delay of one hour in the flight, causing difficulty for all 150 passengers.
