Former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says the PML-N has not sought any NRO from the government
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 2nd April 2019) PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said the party has not sought any NRO from the government.
Talking to journalists, the former prime minister said PM Imran Khan should tell the name of the person who wanted a deal with the government or PTI.
He said the PML-N leadership held a meeting which was presided over by Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif. The meeting demanded the immediate session of the National Assembly over the hike in petroleum prices.
He claimed the government was overcrossing the parliament in decision making. Saying Imran Khan was violating the constitution, Abbasi said the opposition must review the step taken by the PM.
He sought a briefing from the government if it wanted to extend the duration of the military courts. Abbasi said the courts were set up for a specified period.
