LPG price goes up by Rs3 per kg

The distributors announced the rates of commercial and domestic cylinders following the increase in liquefied petroleum gas.

LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 1st April 2019) The LPG marketing companies have raised the price of the gas by Rs3 per kg.

The new prices will be applicable from today, according to the spokesperson for the marketing companies.

The distributors had announced the rates of commercial and domestic cylinders following the increase in liquefied petroleum gas.

The per kg gas price in Lahore went up by Rs3, from Rs130 to Rs133, as per distributors. The domestic cylinder price went up by Rs41. The 11.8kg cylinder will be available in Lahore at price of Rs1564.

Although the use of LPG went down in the summer season, but the consumers expressed concerns over the increase.

The government has already increased the prices of petroleum, oil and lubricants, with petrol and diesel going up by Rs6 per liter.

The new price of petrol will now be Rs98.89 per liter while the price of high-speed diesel will be Rs117.43 per liter.

Similarly, the prices of light diesel oil and kerosene oil went up by Rs3 per liter each, taking them to Rs80.54 and Rs89.31 per liter, respectively.

The opposition parties have criticized the raise and demanded the immediate withdrawal of the prices.
