LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 1st April 2019) A judicial magistrate on Monday sent husband of Asma Aziz to jail till her medical report is submitted before the court.
Asma’s husband Mian Faisal had allegedly tortured his wife and shaved her hair off. She went to police station for the registration of case against Faisal but police asked her for bribe. The woman’s video complaining against her husband behavior and police attitude later went viral on social media. The incident occurred on March 24.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar took notice of the issue and her husband was arrested on March 27.
Mian Faisal was presented before the Judicial Magistrate Shahid Zia at Model Town court on Monday. He was sent to jail on court’s direction until the medical report of the victim was not furnished before the court.
This is important to mention here that Asma had alleged that her husband would invite his friends to their house and force her to dance to amuse them. He allegedly used to physically torture her before friends.
