30 outlaws held; narcotics and weapons recovered in Islamabad

Islamabad Police on Monday arrested 30 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered narcotics, wine, weapons and stolen bike from their possession, a police spokesman said.Following directions of DIG (Operations) Waqar Ud din Syed, he said that police have accelerated efforts against those involved in anti-social activities and special patrolling and vigilance is being ensured in the city

ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 01st April, 2019) Islamabad Police on Monday arrested 30 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered narcotics, wine, weapons and stolen bike from their possession, a police spokesman said.Following directions of DIG (Operations) Waqar Ud din Syed, he said that police have accelerated efforts against those involved in anti-social activities and special patrolling and vigilance is being ensured in the city.

Owing these efforts, police teams arrested 30 outlaws from various area of the city and recovered narcotics and weapons from them.According to details, Noon police arrested Hayat Khan and recovered 1200 gram hashish from him. Secretariat police arrested Ilyas and recovered 1375 grams hashish from him.Kohsar police arrested accused William Masih and recovered 200 gram hashish from him. Karachi Company police arrested Araslan and Saneel for having a total of 20 liter wine while Riaz Khan was held for alleged involvement in a theft case.

Bhara Kahu police arrested an alleged kidnapper Adnan while Junaid was held for having 315 gram hashish and Shabbir for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.Ramana police arrested a bootlegger Yasir and recovered 10 wine bottles and 40 tin beer from him. Shams Colony police arrested Awaiz Mukhtar and Ali besides recovering a total of 1370 gram hashish from him.Golra police arrested Imran and Waqar Khan and recovered 280 gram heroin and one 30 bore pistols from their possession respectively.

Police also arrested a Nigerian national Marceldgh residing illegally in the country while Iqrar Shah was held for selling petroleum products illegally.Khanna police arrested Mubshair and recovered 210 gram hashish from him while Koral police held Raja Khawer, Shaoor , Ali, Sampsun Myakal, Shahba Nawaz, Kamran and Khuram Shahzad and recovered a total of 20 liter wine, 440 gram hashish and one 30 bore pistol from their possession.Industrial Area police recovered a stolen bike from an accused Usman while Sihala Police arrested Said Khan for having 213 gram hashish.

Two other accused Munwar and Azan Abbassi were held for having three wine bottles and 250 gram heroin from their possessionLohibher police arrested Asif and recovered 20 liter wine from him. Aabpara police arrested accused Kamran and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him.Nilor police arrested Zafran and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him while CIA police arrested accused Zohaib Akram and recovered 258 gram hashish from him.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further Investigation is underway from them.DIG (Operations) Waqar Ud din Syed has directed all Station House Officers for effective crackdown against that involvement in drug peddling activities. He asked for renewed efforts to curb such practices and get rid of society from such menace.He said that Performance in this regard would be reviewed on continuous basis. He also directed for strict action against those involved in selling or flying kites, aerial firing and pigeon racing activities.The DIG also categorically asked all police officials to focus on resolving the public complaints and take every possible step to Provide maximum relief to citizens.
