According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan on the issue of India-Pakistan relations post Pulwama Attack, 69% express satisfaction with the Prime Minister’s speech in the parliament regarding the current crisis with India; 50% appreciate the speech of the leader of the opposition

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News - 01st April, 2019) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan on the issue of India-Pakistan relations post Pulwama Attack, 69% express satisfaction with the Prime Minister’s speech in the parliament regarding the current crisis with India; 50% appreciate the speech of the leader of the opposition. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Prime Minister Imran Khan and opposition leaders in the Assembly have debated about the current scenario and about war with India.

What is your opinion on these debates?” In response to this question, 41% Pakistanis found PM Khan’s speech very good, 28% found it to be just good, 17% found it to be appropriate, while 6% found it to be bad and 2% found it to be very bad. 5% did not know or did not wish to respond. On the other hand, 29% Pakistanis found Shahbaz Sharif’s speech to be very good, 21% found it good, 23% thought it was appropriate while 15% found it to be bad and 5% thought it was very bad. 8% did not know or did not wish to respond.
