ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 31st Mar, 2019) Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, met with Mohammed bin Mezyed Altwaijri, Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, as well as with the chairpersons of the Executive Committee of the Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council, to discuss the council’s development.
Both sides discussed a comprehensive report on the council’s initiatives, and progress in implementing its joint strategic projects, as well as its visions and ideas for promoting cooperation, in line with the aspirations of the leaderships of the two countries.
The partnership between the UAE and Saudi Arabia is characterised by political and economic inclusiveness, as well as by their traditional heritage and strong historic ties between their peoples.
The council represents the strategic approach of both countries to address their challenges and utilise their strengths.
The Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council executive committee was created to achieve effective cooperation and partnerships between the two countries, as well as to establish a mechanism for measuring their performance, and ensuring the sustainability of their plans and the success of their initiatives.
