Mohsin Langaryal, Aslam Iqbal and Hashim Jawan Bakht being considered as potential candidates to replace Buzdar.
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 30th March, 2019) Renowned journalist Mohammad Malick has revealed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has given three-month time to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to show his performance.
He said that Usman Buzdar is seen active these days as a recent meeting under the prime minister considered Mohsin Langaryal, Aslam Iqbal and Hashim Jawan Bakht as potential candidates to replace Buzdar.
There have been reports that Prime Minister Imran Khan is unhappy with the performance of CM Buzdar.
According to media report, PM Khan recently met with Buzdar and expressed his resentment over the poor performance of the chief minister. The PM, however, agreed to give him another chance, authorizing Buzdar to take whatever steps he wants to take for bringing betterment in the province.
As per tv reports, PM Imran had also expressed anger over the increase in salaries of MPA and said that at a time when the country’s economy was under stress the raise could not be justified.
“The Prime Minister also directed to make necessary changes in Punjab cabinet if required. He ordered immediate action against corrupt officers in the bureaucracy,” TV report said quoting sources.
The news about his replacement has appeared on many occasions during the last few months but PM Khan always denied such reports.
