Russia's Novak Plans to Discuss Energy Cooperation With Venezuelan Oil Minister Next Week

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Thursday that he planned to discuss energy cooperation with Venezuelan Oil Minister Manuel Quevedo during the latter's visit to Moscow the following week

BISHKEK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th March, 2019) Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Thursday that he planned to discuss energy cooperation with Venezuelan Oil Minister Manuel Quevedo during the latter's visit to Moscow the following week.

"We plan [to discuss cooperation] during his visit, which, I believe, is scheduled for the next week," Novak told reporters.

Energy cooperation between Russia and Venezuela is burgeoning, with Quevedo having announced that Venezuela planned to open an office of its oil giant PDVSA in Moscow and also to increase its oil deliveries to Russia.
