HYDERABAD (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 27th March, 2019) The police on Wednesday said the reports of girl's kidnapping near Radio Pakistan office turned out to be a matter of matrimonial dispute.Deputy superintendent of SITE, Yaqoob Jutt, said the girl, identified as Gulnaz, who ran away with the man wanted to marry him. "It was not a kidnapping case," he clarified.The senior cop said the girl was desirous to marry her social media friend. �We hailed a vehicle near check-post in which was couple were travelling.

The police asked the details and brought the duo to the police station," he added.The husband of the girl has lodged a complaint against her. She will be produced before the court tomorrow (March 28), police said.It may be noted here that last week, two girls, Raveena,13, and Reena, 15, were allegedly kidnapped from their home in Ghotki district in Sindh on the eve of Holi. Soon after their parents claimed that they were abducted, a video went viral on social media in which a cleric was purportedly shown solemnizing the Nikah of the two girls.

Later, the teenage sisters say they converted to islam out of their own free will as they were impressed by its teachings and deny the allegations that they embraced Islam as their new religion under duress.Earlier, on March 24, Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the provincial governments of Punjab and Sindh to carry out investigation into alleged forced conversion and underage marriages of the Hindu girls.
