LAHORE (Pakistan Point News / Online - 27th March, 2019) Chairman Businessmen Panel for FPCCI and Former Minister of the Government of Punjab, Mian Anjum Nisar said on Wednesday that we have a enough percentage this year in Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry affairs and its executive committee with a share of 43 percent which is a good number for taking up matters in the interests of the business community through its Executive Committee meetings.
Talking to the business community, he said this year we would ensure that the FPCCI Election Commission for the coming elections may be constituted on merit and we couldn't allowed the controversial persons for the commission because it has been proved that the election commission is biased and in a novel example in FPCCI elections 2018, Federation had accepted nomination of United Business Group (UBG) candidate for SVP Mazhar Ali Nasir from an association with no legal existence was against merit and a proved rigging and shows the dishonesty of secretary general and election commission of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. According to the High Court, FPCCI has given contesting right to a candidate from a void association which was against law.
