Large numbers of PML-N workers receive him in front of jail. Shehbaz, Maryam welcome former PM at home in Raiwind
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 27th March, 2019) PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif has been released from Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail after acceptance of his bail petition for six weeks from Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Nawaz was released from jail at 1 am. A large number of PML-N leaders and workers were present in front of jail to welcome him. They chanted slogans showered rose petals on their leader.
Those who were present in front of jail to welcome Nawaz were included Senator Mushadullah Khan, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Bilal Yasin, Imran Nazir and others.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif had reached Raiwind to receive his brother at home where Maryam Nawaz Sharif along with other family members was also present.
Nawaz has been set free for six weeks on medical grounds on the orders of the Supreme Court. He, however, was not allowed to leave the country during the said period of his bail.
