Information minister says the use of word ‘bail’ about SC decision is inappropriate
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 26th March, 2019) Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has welcomed the Supreme Court decision on Nawaz Sharif bail petition.
Reacting on the apex court decision, he said the use of word ‘bail’ was inappropriate rather the former prime minister had been provided six weeks leave by the top court.
Referring to the CJP’s comments in which he raised the question on Nawaz stance regarding ‘stress’, the information minister said that PML-N leader’s narrative about his health condition had been exposed and that the disqualified PM was not suffering from any serious illness but he was under stress.
He said the government had already offered all kind of medical facilities to Nawaz Sharif but he (Nawaz) was not agreed to accept them. And now when Supreme Court had directed for the same, the government welcomed the decision, he added.
