MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th March, 2019) President of Oman's State Council Yahya bin Mahfouz al-Manzari will pay a working visit to Russia on April 9-13, a spokesperson for the Russian parliament's upper chamber told Sputnik on Tuesday.
"On April 9-13, a delegation of the State Council of Oman headed by its President Yahya bin Mahfouz al-Manzari will be in Russia on official visit at the invitation of Russian Federation Council Speaker [Valentina Matviyenko]," the spokesperson said.
In February, Oman's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah paid a working visit to Moscow, during which he held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The sides agreed to step up bilateral cooperation in trade, energy, and agriculture and invest more in each other's economies.
