Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met on Tuesday with the representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Russia and expressed Moscow's readiness to give an additional impetus to the Russian-US investment and cooperation, a Sputnik correspondent reported
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th March, 2019) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met on Tuesday with the representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Russia and expressed Moscow's readiness to give an additional impetus to the Russian-US investment and cooperation, a Sputnik correspondent reported.
"Today, the Russian-US cooperation, to put it mildly, does not achieve its potential. We would like to give an additional impulse to this cooperation in investment and the economic sector," Lavrov told the AmCham representatives.
"We want to attract foreign business, including from the United States, and create favorable conditions for it to come. We hope for a reciprocal favorable attitude toward Russia [in the United States]. We welcome the traditional participation of US businessmen in different economic forums, including the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June," Lavrov added.
