NAB to include PPP Senator Rukhsana Bangash in Ayyan Ali case
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 25th March, 2019) The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to include Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Rukhsana Bangash to probe model Ayyan Ali case.
NAB sources said that an officer appointed by Rukhsana Bangash had accompanied Ayyan Ali on her trips overseas as a ‘carrier’. He had made 45 trips with Ayyan who has been facing money laundering case.
The sources revealed the name of the person who had been doing foreign visits with Ayyan Ali.
This officer, identified as Mushtaq, was appointed as protocol officer in President House during the PPP government. His appointment was made by the letter pad of Senator Rukhsana Bangash.
With the revelation, noose has further tightened around Ayyan Ali while NAB has included the PPP senator into investigation as well.
Rukshana Bangash will be interrogated about Ayyan Ali and Mushtaq.
On the other hand, the Lahore High Court (LHC) Office had raised objection over supermodel Ayyan Ali’s petition against her arrest warrants remarking the accused is not Pakistan therefore, her application cannot be fixed for hearing.
Meanwhile, a special customs court in Rawalpindi while issuing interim warrant of model Ayyan Ali declared her proclaimed offender in Currency smuggling case.
Ayyan Ali was arrested by the Airport Security Force in March 14, 2015 at Benazir International Airport along with $506,800 she was allegedly trying to smuggle to United Arab Emirates (UAE).
