Sahiwal (Pakistan Point News / Online - 25th March, 2019) Police have recovered a female who was allegedly tortured by her husband and tied up with the chains for the last several weeks.According to police the alleged suspect had kept her wife in a house for the last 20 days in Shiran Street in the area of Sahiwal.Upon information team of Ghala Mandi police have recovered the female.Female after recovery said to police that his husband and in-laws subjected torture at her after tiding her with chains.
Police have arrested the suspect and registered a case against him under Pakistan Penal Code section 342.According to initial investigation by police, suspect had tied up his wife in chains because according to him she was bedevil and he had also subjected severe torture at her.Police said that the victim female is mentally retarded and she has also attempted to commit suicide before but mother of two children rejected this statement.Victim female is now in the police custody.Investigation Officer Afzal Gul said that female will be presented in the court today that will decide on the mental condition of her.Police have also arrested the brother of the suspect.
