India Interested in Russian Drones, Localizing Production - United Aircraft Corporation

The development of Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs or drones) and their subsequent localized production in India is currently being discussed by the two countries, the vice president of United Aircraft Corporation, Ilya Tarasenko, told Sputnik

LANGKAWI (Malaysia) (Pakistan Point news / Sputnik - 25th March, 2019) The development of Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs or drones) and their subsequent localized production in India is currently being discussed by the two countries, the vice president of United Aircraft Corporation, Ilya Tarasenko, told Sputnik.

"Just recently, while communicating with our colleagues from India at the AeroIndia exhibition, the subject of unmanned vehicles was touched upon. It is included on the current agenda. Both the development of unmanned systems with subsequent production and localization in India, and the legal framework for this cooperation are being discussed," Tarasenko said before the arms exhibition LIMA-2019.

LIMA-2019 will start on Tuesday in Malaysia's Langkawi and end on Saturday.
