India shouldn’t interfere in Pakistan’s internal matters: Dr Ramesh Kumar on Hindu girls abduction

Ramesh Kumar hoped that Prime Minister Imran Khan is able to solve the issue of two Hindu girls being abducted from Sindh.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 24th March, 2019) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member National Assembly (MNA) Dr Ramesh Kumar has said that minorities face issues in every country.

Ramesh Kumar hoped that Prime Minister Imran Khan is able to solve the issue of two Hindu girls being abducted from Sindh.

Regarding Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj’s tweet about Hindu girls, Ramesh Kumar said that no other country should interfere in the internal matters of Pakistan.

The Pakistan Hindu Council chairman said that forced conversions will be curbed in the PTI government.

He hoped that the prime minister will do legislation on forced conversions.

Two Hindu sisters were allegedly kidnapped from Hafiz Salman village near Deharki on the eve of Holi.

According to their parents, the girls have been forced to convert to Islam.

The girls’ father and brother, in videos circulating on social media, say that the two sisters were abducted and forced into changing their religion. However, a separate video of the minor girls is also making the rounds, in which they say that they accepted islam of their own free will.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to recover two Hindu girls kidnapped from Thar.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said in an earlier tweet that the prime minister has told the chief minister that the girls are reported to have been shifted to Rahim Yar Khan.

The prime minister directed that the matter should be investigated and the girls should be recovered, Fawad Chaudhry said.

In another tweet, he said that the prime minister has directed the Sindh and Punjab government to form a joint strategy on the issue. Moreover, he directed that Sindh should take solid measures to prevent such incidents.

Minorities represent the white in our flag and all the colours are dear to us. It is our responsibility to protect our flag, Fawad Chaudhry quoted Imran Khan in his tweet.
