Mariam Almheiri briefed on Al Foah Company's achievements

AL AIN, (Pakistan Point News - 24th Mar, 2019) Mariam Hareb Almheiri, Minister of State for food Security, recently visited Al Foah Company, a subsidiary of SENAAT owned by the Abu Dhabi Government, where she was briefed on Al Foah Company’s most significant achievements both locally and globally.

Almheiri was received by Musallam Obaid Al Khales Al Ameri, CEO of Al Foah Company, Mohammed Ghanim Al Qesaili Al Mansouri, Deputy CEO of Al Foah Company, and a number of officials from the ministry and the company.

She also visited the company's call centre team who is also responsible for communicating new policies and regulations to the farmers as well as providing them with the necessary proposals and educating them on general processes.

Minister Almheiri and her delegation also paid a visit to Al Saad Dates Factory, one of Al Foah’s assets for date production. She expressed her pleasure to visit one of the most important national factories in the country, given the importance of its products and its reflection of the UAE’s folklore and history.

For his part, Musallam Obaid Al Khales Al Ameri, CEO of Al Foah Company, emphasised the company’s commitment to the industry, saying, "Al Foah has dedicated its efforts to enhancing the presence of UAE dates in different countries of the world, as the export sales account for more than 90 percent of the date sales produced in the date factories of Al Foah, due to the high quality of UAE dates and the increasing demand of international markets."

Al Ameri stressed that Al-Foah is adopting modern marketing strategies that ensure a strong presence and wide spread of UAE dates in the countries of the world, pointing out that the UAE dates are exported to more than 45 countries from around the world.

He also lauded the minister's visit, which represents a great moral boost that reflects the keenness to follow up the development of the date industry in the country, which contributes to highlighting the national product identity locally and promoting its spread in international markets.
