PPP chairman says whether those who refused to follow the scripted narrative would be declared traitors
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 22nd March, 2019) PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has responded to the movers of a resolution against him in Punjab Assembly, saying whether those who refused to follow the scripted narrative would be declared traitors.
An MPA from PTI has submitted a resolution in Punjab Assembly seeking action against PPP chairman over his statement regarding banned outfits.
Bilawal a couple of days ago had said that the government had taken provided a protective cover to heads of banned organization fearing Indian planes might attack them. He had alleged the PTI leaders have connections with the banned outfits and demanded a formation of JIT to probe his allegations.
"They [the PTI] are not taking action against the banned organizations because they had been their allies in the last general elections," he had claimed.
The PTI MPA has demanded in a resolution that Bilawal’s statement about the government’s action against proscribed organizations as "protective cover" was no less than treason as it reflected the 'Indian narrative'
The PPP chairman strongly reacted to the resolution in a tweet and said he wondered whether those who don't "follow a script" are declared traitors. "Screw you and your narrative, I have an ideology," he said. "My ideology doesn't change, your narrative will keep changing," he said.
