MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd March, 2019) Russia's energy giant Gazprom is ready to extend the existing contract on gas transit through Ukraine, the company's CEO Alexei Miller said Friday."As for the transit contract, it ends on December 31, 2019, and Gazprom is ready to continue gas transit through Ukraine to the European countries on the basis of an extension of the existing contract," Miller said at a meeting of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev with Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk and Ukrainian presidential candidate and leader the Opposition Platform for Life party Yuriy Boyko.
