Birmingham (Pakistan Point News – 21st March, 2019) A man with a sledgehammer has reportedly targeted four mosques in Birmingham in a string of attacks.
The man smashed the windows of the mosques on Birchfield Road.
Officers were then alerted to a similar attack on Slade Road, Erdington, about 45 minutes later.
The damage is being linked to further attacks on mosques in Aston and Perry Barr, West Midlands Police said. The motive behind the attack is not known yet.
Officers from the force's Counter Terrorism Unit are investigating.
Forensic teams are at the scenes collecting evidence and officers are examining CCTV in the areas.
