Federal cabinet condemns Muslims killings in New Zealand

Prime Minister Imran Khan says terrorism has no religion. Cabinet approves different financial schemes

ISLAMABAD- (Pakistan Point News-19th March, 2019) The federal cabinet has condemned the killings of innocents Muslims in the terror attack on two mosques in New Zealand and called for strict measure against increasing Islamophobia in West.

The meeting held in Islamabad today with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair. The meeting continued for five hours.

The meeting discussed the overall economic, security situation of the country. The cabinet was briefed about the reforms process in the Federal board of Revenue.

The federal cabinet approved the dissolution of budget allocation for "entertainment and gift".

The cabinet established a task force on Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) and also decided to appoint heads of public sector enterprises and director general of Debt Policy Coordination Office.

Prime Minister Imran Khan addressing the meeting said that terrorism has no religion. He said it was high time that west stop linking terrorism to islam and Muslims. He expressed his grief over the killings of innocent Muslims and shared condolence with the families of victims.
