MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 19th March, 2019) No direct connection between the main suspect in the shooting in the Dutch city of Utrecht and the victims have been found, the Dutch police said Tuesday.The attack on Monday left three people dead. The police have detained a man of Turkish origin, identified as Gokmen Tanis, as a main suspect.
"Last night the police reported that the main suspect, a 37-year old man from Utrecht, was arrested in a house at the Oudenoord in Utrecht. No direct relations have been found between the main suspect and the victims," the police said on Twitter.
Turkish Anadolu news agency reported on Monday that Tanis had fired upon his relative over a family dispute before attacking other people, who were traveling by tram with them and tried to interfere.
