At least seven people were killed and 17 others were injured on Wednesday after two gunmen, believed to be teenagers, attacked a school in the southeastern Brazilian state of Sao Paolo, local media reported

SAN NICOLAS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th March, 2019) At least seven people were killed and 17 others were injured on Wednesday after two gunmen, believed to be teenagers, attacked a school in the southeastern Brazilian state of Sao Paolo, local media reported.

The tragic incident took place in the city of Suzano at around 9:30 a.m. local time (12:30 GMT), the Globo broadcaster specified.

The armed and hooded attackers turned their weapons on themselves after killing some students and adults.

The reasons behind the attack are currently unclear.

Police officers and rescue teams are currently working at the site. The injured people have been taken to hospitals.
