Says she did not know what kind of political discussion held between the two leaders
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 12th March 2019) Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday met his father Nawaz Sharif in Kot Lakhpat Jail and said the former prime minister was still facing angina and blood pressure issues.
The doctors, she said, had changed his medicines but he was not feeling well and under severe stress.
Talking to journalists, after meeting the PML-N supremo, she thanked PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who visited the jail a day before to inquire after the health of Nawaz Sharif.
She, however, avoided commenting when a reporter asked her what kind of discussion held between the two leaders. Maryam said she did not know what political discussion was held between Nawaz and Bilawal.
“I can’t thank Bilawal Bhutto enough for visiting the jail to inquire after the health of my father,” said Maryam who earlier made a series of tweet uprising his five million followers about the latest health condition of PML-N jailed leader. She said Nawaz personal doctor in London had seen his medical reports and declared his condition serious.
Maryam said Nawaz will not be able to see his visitors on Thursday due to the health issue and take rest.
Earlier, PML-N president and Opposition leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz also visited the jail to see Nawaz. They inquired after the health of Nawaz and discussed the prevailing political situation.
