CAA issues fresh notam about countrywide flight operations

According to the notam, flight operations will continue at Peshawar, Quetta, Lahore and Islamabad airports till March 15.

Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 12th March, 2019) The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a fresh Notice to Airmen (Notam) regarding flight operations at countrywide airports.

According to the notam, flight operations will continue at Peshawar, Quetta, Lahore and Islamabad airports till March 15.

The flight operations will also continue at Chitral, Multan, Karachi and Faisalabad airports till 5am on March 15.

The flights operations at airports where they were already restored have been extended till 5am, March 15.

The routes for overflying from Pakistan will remain also open till 3pm, March 13, the notam stated.

The notam stated only specific airspace can be used for travelling to and from Pakistan. The flights are allowed to travel from a special route from North to South while flights from East to West and West to East will remain suspended till 3pm on March 13.

Moreover, the airspace for flights passing through Pakistan will remain temporarily suspended till March 13.

The flight operations will continue to remain suspended at Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan and Sukkur airports till March 13.
