ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2019) Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, has attended the reception hosted by Steven C. Bondy, Charge d’Affaires at the US Embassy in the UAE, on the occasion of his country's National Day.
Bondy delivered a speech during which he lauded the progress and development witnessed by the UAE-US relations. He pointed out that the UAE has achieved a distinguished position among nations and has gained international recognition as a result of the UAE's tolerance, openness and diplomacy in various political, economic, social and human rights fields.
He added that the UAE has been among the leading countries in spreading the values of tolerance, peace and coexistence.
The reception, which was held at the Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi, was attended by Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, Director of the Visits Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior officials, members of Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE, a number of American businessmen, US community residents, and the US Olympic team participating in the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019.
